FAQs

What is Direct Primary Care?

In the United States, direct primary care (DPC) is primary care offered directly to the consumer, without insurance administration. It is an umbrella term, incorporating various healthcare delivery systems that involve direct financial relationships between patients and healthcare providers.

Here at VIP Medical Services, DPC means you spend more time with the doctor and, as a member, you have direct contact with your doctor 24/7 via cell phone, email, and even FaceTime.  At VIP our doctor is able to take on fewer patients resulting in spending more time with each and often guaranteeing appointments within 24 hours. Our membership-based approach to routine and preventive care can significantly reduce health care costs.

Do we accept health insurance?

No, we do not accept or file insurance. We are not contracted with Medicaid/Medicare either. We gladly accept anyone who wants to become a member. Your insurance should cover all the outside testing, referrals to specialists, and hospitalizations you may require.

As a member of VIP Medical Services, do I still need health insurance?

Yes. We encourage members to carry some type of insurance policy and a health savings account in case of unexpected, expensive health events.

Can I be seen even if I am not a member?

Yes! We have non member rates for visits and services as well.
